We recently interviewed one of our Licensed REALTORS at Nichol City, Rachel Corcoran.
Rachel has received many awards including Agent of the Month this past June. Her tagline is “Relax with Rachel” simply because she wants her clients to have a stress-free transaction and to enjoy the home buying & selling process.

Rachel, what is it like being a real estate agent in WNY?
It can be challenging at times but very rewarding. The biggest challenge is standing out from the rest of the agents in the area.
What is your favorite thing about being a REALTOR?
I love to be my client’s “hero”. To do a great job for them and know that I am working hard to sell or find their home.
What is the best moment you’ve had in real estate?
The best moment I had so far is when my clients cried after hearing their offer was accepted on their Dream Farm House they have been waiting to go up for sale. To see their daughter run around on the property and shout out all the farm animals she was going to get soon. Making clients happy is the best feeling!
How is the current market in WNY?
The current market is unpredictable. COVID-19 has brought about many changes in the industry that we’ve never seen happen before. Inventory is very low, making it somewhat difficult for buyers to find a home. The average Days on Market is currently 13 days in Erie County! Homes are selling fast and for top dollar. The average sales price in Erie County continues to increase.
Do you have any advice for Buyers at this time?
They can definitely benefit from working with an educated real estate agent. Interview a few and make sure they are a good fit for you. And don’t give up! You may experience multiple offer situations and you may not get the first house you put in an offer on, but keep trying. An educated agent will advise you on making the best possible offer to get you the home you love.
